Over the last several months, MS Partners have asked me how to configure QuickBooks on Azure RemoteApp. Over the Christmas break, I put together a step-by-step for a workgroup configuration for the CanITPro blog. Stay tuned for the domain configuration in the following weeks.

    Hello I have reviewed you informative blog and had my IT programmer create a QUICKBOOKS PREMIER APP FOR MULTI USER as you instructions on http://blogs.technet.com/b/canitpro/archive/2016/01/07/step-by-step-configuring-quickbooks-for-azure-remote-app-in-a-workgroup.aspx. However we keep getting an error that in order to have multi users logging in at the same time I need to switch to QB Enterprise. Can you share some instructions how to get around this?

    Hi Arnold,

    I did not encounter that error during my setup. Did you install QB in Multi-user mode during installation? http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support/pages/inproducthelp/Core/QB2K11/ContentPackage/Core/Multi_User/task_multiuser_setup_rec.html

    Hi Sharon, great instructions on RemoteApp!
    It seems that currently all the Azure AD users can access entire mapped drive. Is it possible to restrict certain AD users’ access to their own shared folders?
    For example, user A1, A2 can only access folder AA; user B1, B2 can only access folder BB.
